Description
Minecraft: Story Mode is an episodic point-and-click video game developed and published by Telltale Games, based on Mojang Studios’ sandbox video game Minecraft. The game follows the same episodic format as other Telltale Games titles, such as The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands, and Game of Thrones.
In Minecraft: Story Mode, players take on the role of a player-created character named Jesse. Initially an everyman, Jesse later becomes a hero alongside their friends. The story kicks off with Jesse and their friends attempting to reassemble an old group of heroes known as the Order of the Stone. Their mission? To save the Overworld from the destructive Wither Storm. The first season consists of eight episodes, with the first five released between October 2015 and March 2016, and an additional three episodes as downloadable content (DLC) in mid-2016. A second season, comprising five episodes, was released in 2017.
Throughout the game, players collect items, solve puzzles, and engage in conversation with non-player characters to learn about the story and make decisions that impact both the current episode and future ones. Unlike some of Telltale’s other games, Minecraft: Story Mode maintains a family-friendly tone, avoiding mature imagery or themes. Elements of crafting and building, central to the original Minecraft, are also included in the gameplay12. So, if you’re a fan of Minecraft and enjoy interactive storytelling, this game might be right up your alley! 🎮🌟
